Aged Care Support Worker - Jimboomba, Yarrabilba & Tamborine Area

We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Support Worker to join our amazing Aged Care Team working in the Jimboomba, Yarrabilba and Tamborine area.

This is a casual role and it is paid under the Social, Community, Home care And Disability Services Industry Award (Aged Care Home Care Employee Classification) Level 2 which is $36.89 per hour.

As a Support Worker, you will:

Be an integral part of a team working to support the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs of clients. You will be helping them to achieve their health and wellbeing goals through a range of services including:

  • Domestic support
  • Assisting clients with personal care services
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities
  • Providing flexible respite – both in home and community
  • Group Social Support
  • Transporting clients to and from appointments

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Certificate III in Individual Support and minimum one year of aged care experience
  • Has current Blue Card and NDIS Check or ability to obtain
  • Has current First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Is well presented, reliable and resilient
  • Has reliable transport including comprehensive car insurance and roadworthy
