Aged Care - Domestic Assistant

The Aged Care Domestic Assistant plays a vital role in supporting older adults to maintain their independence and live safely and comfortably in their own homes We have been supporting and delivering exceptional care to our community for over 35 years and are constantly striving to get even better outcomes for our clients.  

We have an opportunity for a caring and committed Domestic Assistant Worker to join our amazing Aged Care team working on Tamborine Mountain and the Tamborine and Canungra area.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will:  

Be a valuable front-line team member who will not only be a social support to our clients, but you will also ensure they have a clean and safe home to enjoy. Your day may include a range of tasks such as:

• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
• Hanging, folding and washing laundry
• Dusting
• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets
• Wiping surfaces/kitchen

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has a current Blue Card and NDIS Check (or eligible to obtain)
• Has a current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or eligible to obtain)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Is well presented, reliable and resilient
• Has reliable transport
