Aged Care Domestic Assistant

We have an opportunity for a caring and committed Domestic Assistant Worker to join our amazing Aged Care team working in the Jimboomba, Yarrabilba and Tamborine area.

This is a casual role, which is paid under the Social, Community, Home care And Disability Services Industry Award (Aged Care Home Care Employee Classification) Level 1 - $36.18 per hour.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will:

Be a valuable front-line team member who will not only be a social support to our clients, but you will also ensure they have a clean and safe home to enjoy. Your day may include a range of tasks such as:

  • Making beds and changing bed linen
  • Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
  • Hanging, folding and ironing washing
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning bathrooms and toilets 
  • Wiping surfaces/kitchen

 We are looking for someone who:

  • Has current Blue Card and NDIS Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Has current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or able to obtain)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Is well presented, reliable and resilient
  • Has reliable transport
