How to Become an Educator

Take the first step towards a fulfilling career with Beaucare's In-Home Child Care program. If you enjoy working with children and families, and meet our requirements, we invite you to apply and join our growing team.

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold or be working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
  • Have a current National criminal history check (within the last 6 months)
  • Hold a current first aid qualification (HLTAID012)
  • Hold current CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Have a positive suitability notice (Blue Card)
  • Have an ABN and a Proda RA number

Responsibilities:

  • Actively supervise children and develop individual educational programs based on each child's needs
  • Ensure the needs of each child are met, including those with disabilities or special requirements
  • Support families without undertaking home duties, unless specified
